The Daughters of Hawai`i are proud to present the Hulihe`e Palace Concert Series. These concerts of Hawai`ian music, singing and hula are presented on the ocean lanai of the Hulihe`e Palace in Kailua-Kona on the Island of Hawai`i on monthly basis. Each Concert honors one of the most love monarchs of Hawai`i.

Concerts are open to public and free of charge. Concerts begin at 4:00 pm.

Jan 17   Hulihe'e Palace Concert: Commemorating the birthday of King Lunalilo and remembering I'olani Luahine. The concert starts at 4:00 PM featuring the Hulihe'e Palace Band under the direction of Band Director Lisa Archuletta, the Merrie Monarchs Singers and Grace Basque and Halau Hula Na Pua U'i O Hawai'i under the direction of Kumu Hula Etua Lopes

Feb 21   : Hulihe'e Palace Concert: Honoring Princess Ruth Ke'eilikolani. The concert starts at 4:00 PM featuring the Merrie Monarch Singers and Halau Hula Na Pua U'i O Hawai'i under the direction of Kumu Hula Etua Lopes

Mar 21   : Hulihe'e Palace Concert: Honoring Queen Ka'ahumanu and Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole. Concert starts at 4:00 PM featuring the Hulihe'e Palace Band under the direction of Band Director Lisa Archuletta, the Merrie Monarch Singers with Grace Basque and Halau Hula Na Pua U'i O Hawai'i under the direction of Kumu Hula Etua Lopes
Mar 27   Day at Hulihe'e: In honor of Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Hawai'i's first delegate of royal blood to the United States Congress where he served for 20 years. He was the last royal owner and resident of Hulihe'e Palace. Blessing at 8:30 AM; the the event starts 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM All day entertainment by local halau, local Arts and Craft Vendors and good food.
